Dime On A Map

Down in Payson, Utah right at the base of West Mountain sits the decently sized O-day Dairy Farm, a registered business since 1997.
From a young age these cattle are kept isolated in their own cages to keep them from getting sick or hurt while they are young and weak.
As they get older they move them to bigger and shared corrals.
Despite living conditions that would no doubt drive any sane human crazy, the cows here all seemed happy and were surprisingly friendly.
The workers, sporting less than friendly expressions, were all very helpful and kind. They are never mean to the cows and don't use tools like cattle prods. All their corralling is done with whistles and guiding by hand.
Because of the workers gentle tactics all the cows were willing and eager to get into their milking cages.
The workspace is always kept clean and even has some automated functions that make sure of that.
The cows seemed thankful to be purged of their milk and this worker seemed like he thoroughly enjoyed his job.

9/11 Project

Joseph Mecham was a 17 year old kid still living at home when the terrorist attacks happened on September 11th 2001. Still in his pajamas, just starting to get ready for school, his mom relayed the devastating news to him. That day impacted Joe on a level that no one could've ever known. Now 30 years old and happily married, Joe is still affected by those events. In the years following the attacks he enlisted in the army and has since served one tour in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. Serving as a specialist in an SFOD-D unit, Joe made sacrifices that he can never talk about, sacrifices that most of us could never bring ourselves to make. He has seen and experienced things that most people could not even fathom, and those images and experiences will be burned into his mind for the rest of his life. Lest we not forget, freedom isn't free.
